  4. 4.0 4.1 The Ancestral File gives her name as Agnes Lingwood, and provides a marriage date (30 Jun 1589). While it is possible that such a marriage record has been found, I have seen no published source with this information, and the Ancestral File is known to contain a significant amount of fabricated information. It is known that Agnes' son Joseph is called "cousin" by William Lyngwood, and that there was a Geoffrey Lummys, clothier in Braintree (Loomis, p. 98) who might have been Agnes' son (although not mentioned in her husband's will) - these two facts taken together have led to speculation that Agnes was Agnes Lyngwood, sister of Geoffrey Lyngwood of Braintree.
