Daily Times-News, The Tuesday, February 22, 1972 Mr. Agnes Dickens SHOFFNER, 57, of 425 E. Willowbrook Dr. died Monday afternoon at o'clock at her home following 11 years of failing health and five weeks of critical illness. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Minnie Mont- gomery Dickens. She was the wife of VICTOR H. SHOFFNER, who survives, of the home. She was a member of the First Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Roxie Bible Class there. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter. Mrs.. Carl Mangione of Jack- sonville; three sisters, Mrs.. Otha Secrest of Burlington, Mrs.. Lala Stultz of Rt. 2, Burlington and Mrs.. Nelson Gusler of Greensboro; one brother, Lee Boyd Dickens of Burlington; and two grandchildren. Final rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock at the First Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Stanley Hartman, pas- tor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The body will remain at McClure Funeral Home in Bur- lington until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock.
