Loving mother and grandmother Agnes Rose Ejhinger, 88, formerly of Point P lace, died Thursday in Parkcliffe Assisted Living Community.

Agnes was born in Port Clinton on Feb. 18, 1916 to Robert and Cora Darr. S he married Joseph Paul Ejhinger, who preceded her in death, and spent h er 50 years of married life creating a wonderful home for Joseph and the ir children. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, their Rosa ry and Altar Society, Homemakers, and Point Place Garden Club. She was a l ong-time volunteer for her church, community and the American Red Cross. S he did catering from her home for many years and was a wonderful cook.

Agnes' daughter, Lynn Ejhinger and grandson, Brent Ejhinger, also preced ed her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Jo Dots on, Robert (Su Ellen) Ejhinger, Carol (Paul) Konieczny and Joyce Ejhinge r; grandchildren, Anita Dotson, Eric Konieczny and Ryan Ejhinger; great-gr andchildren, Dylan, Madyson, and Ryan Ejhinger; brothers, Gerald (Grace) D arr and Gene (Irene) Darr; sister, Mary Ellen (Robert) Meyers, and many ni eces and nephews.

Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the David R. Jasin Funeral Home, 53 00 N. Summit St., Toledo with a Rosary service at 4:30 p.m.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday beginning with prayers in the funeral home a nd continuing with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. John the B aptist Catholic Church, Summit at 124th St., with Rev. Father Charles Sing ler officiating.

Burial: To follow services at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, those wishing to send an expression of symp athy are encouraged to consider Hospice of Northwest OH or the Alzheime rs Association. Agnes' family would like to extend a special thank y ou to the staff at Parkcliffe and Hospice of Northwest OH for their lovi ng care of Agnes.
