Mrs. Pearl M. Evans - Rte 1, Pullman, age 83, passed away Tuesday (Oct 19, 1971) at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Evans was born August 26, 1888, in Cheshire Twp., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert King and had resided in this area most of her life. She was a member of the Casco United Methodist Church and Ladies Aid. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer, in 1962. Mrs. Evans is survived by 3 sons and 5 daughters, Ralph of Kalamazoo, Robert of Allegan, Martin of Rte 4, South Haven, Mrs. G.E. (Ethel) Michaud of Detroit, Mrs. E. R. (Maude) Butler of Sanford, Fla., Mrs. Albert (June) Overhiser of Rte 1, Pullman, Mrs. H. Ross (Helen) Jerrett of Kalamazoo and Mrs. George (Blanche) Peet of Allegan; one brother, William King of Kalamazoo; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one aunt. The family will receive friends at the Bloomingdale Chapel of the Robbins Funeral Chapel of the Robbins Funeral Home this evening from 7 to 9, where services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Adam Chyrowski officiating. Burial in Pierson Cemetery.
