He was remembered, as Ruth Zimmerman Brickner told about some of Adam'schildren: "Grandpa John Wesley Zimmerman owned 8 acres. He had a cow. Hehung paper and he done plastering. He taught Mervin. His one brotherthat was Justice of the Peace, his wife's name was Elsie (Jonathan).They never had but two children. . Philip had a parrot that could talklike crazy. Nancy got a divorce, they never like her because back thenyou did not do that. Simon lived in Fremont and worked in a factorywhere they made shears and knives and stuff.
