I have her death certificate and she lists her parents name as Thompson. Hamilton G. Thompson's birthplace is listed in Barbour Co. VA in 1829 on his death certificate. His father is listed as Henry Thompson and born in VA and his mother as Marsa Panel also in VA (actually it is listed as WV, but that was not a state at that time). His wife Adaline has her maiden name listed as Thompson with her father's name as Jackson Thompson and her mother's maiden name as Booth (possible Boothe). On her death certificate her birthplace is listed as Virginia, but on the 1880 census she lists her birthplace as Indiana. Their first child Roseanna is listed as born in Illinois as is their son Arlington, but their daughter Laura is born in Virginia (Phillipi, Barbour Co., West Virginia) Laura (married name Keesy), Roseanna and their parents all lived in their later years and died in Bristol, Harrison Co., WV. I have not been able to find Arlington. He was married in the 1880 Census and his wife is listed with him at the home place..
