Military Service: Private in Co. D 151st IN Vol. Infantry, enlisted 24 Jan 1865, discharged 19 Sep 1865. The 151st Regiment, Indiana Infantry was organized at Indianapolis, IN and mustered in March 3, 1865. Left state for Nashville, TN on March 6. Then moved to Tullahoma, TN on March 14 and had duty there till June 14. Then moved to Nashville, TN on June 14 and had garrison duty there till September. Mustered out 19 September 1865.
