“The petition for an act of incorporation of the town of Bradford was dated 30 May 1787 and Abner was one of the twenty signers[NHPapers11:220]. He appeared on the Bradford tax inventory book from 1794-1805 and again 1813. In 1804 he was a husbandman of Bradford when sold Bradford land to Phineas Stevens of New Boston, Abner made his mark [HillsDeeds68:229]. They lived in Bradford and Sutton [HistSutton616] and perhaps a short time in Henniker {HenFams/Ward30].”
