Abner's birth is recorded, but no date is listed, and neither source explains their birth order: is it based on the order named in the will? Is it based on the order in the family grouping in the original records? No explanation is given. Neither source offers any details about Abner, there appears to be no marriage record, no death record, or anything other than an apparent mention in his father's will that offers any clue about how old Abner was. As neither William nor Elizabeth had a father named Abner, one would suspect William, not Abner, is more likely to be the first born son, and there are a couple of other excellent gaps where Abner's birth would fit with ease, notably around 1733 and 1744, besides 1726. Thus this estimate should be treated with great caution.
