Facts and Events
Name Abigail Jane Woodruff
Gender Female
Marriage 14 Jun 1833 , Sussex, NJto John Givens Buckley

!HISTORY: "No trace can be found of the brothers and sisters of Abbie Jane Woodruff, if any. It has not been determined definitely to which family she belongs. The Woodruffs were numerous in and about Sparta and Hamburg about the time of the marriage of Abigail Woodruff and John Buckley. It is thought that the name Afflick might offer some clue as to the identity of Abigail J. Woodruff. It is thought that the name Afflick may have been her mother's name. It has been thought that the Wades may have intermarried with the Woodruffs and that Abigail J. Woodruff may have been a daughter by such marriage, as the name Abby Jane seems to have been a common one in the Wade family, and the Wade family formerly lived in Sussex County in the locality where these people were married. Any information that will enable the inquirer to locate the descendants of the brothers and sisters of Abbie Jane Woodruff, if any, or to show that she did not have any brothers or sisters would be thankfully received and the party furnishing information would be compensated for all trouble in the matter."
