  2.   Source:Tisdale, Robert L. Descendants of John Tisdale (1614-1675), Colonial Massachusetts, p. 13, says Abigail, b. Freetown 11 Apr 1697, m. 1739 Salisbury Sherman of Swansea. This is clearly wrong, as he was 15 years younger than her, and he and his wife had children until 1755, when this Abigail would have been almost 60. The wife of Salisbury Sherman appears to be the daughter of James and Abigail Tisdale of Dighton, MA.
