[Note: this source tries to suggest a birth between 17 Oct 1739 and 16 Oct 1740 based on age at death. The death record has not been located, so its exact wording is not known, but "Ae 92" suggests in 92nd year, which means age 91, so these calculations could a year off, and thus more consistent with the baptism date. This possible error may have been influenced by a problem with the birth date assigned to Emmons (see his page). The suggested birth date has been ignored, preferring to rely on what is actually known, without adding possibly incorrect assumptions.]
