    In the 1790 census they [Abigail and Alexander] were living in Granville, Mass next door to her sister Rachel who married Ebenezer Barnes, Jr. as follows:
    Stewart, Alexander:
    1 male over 16
    2 males under 16
    4 females
    Abigail probably was the second wife of Alexander Stewart as all these children in the 1790 census could not have been hers, unless she was married previously wheich in doubtful. We do know she was deceased before the 9 May 1791 when Alexander Stewart signed the deed to Thomas Porter in behalf of his wife Abigale, deceased. (p. 50)
