Biographical Sketches of Those who Attended Harvard College (1690-1774), Vol. 17, p. 82) assume that the Abigail Jacobs who m. Nathaniel Porter was d/o John Jacobs and Abigail Waters. The father's will shows that Abigail m. a Mr. Felton. Rather, it was the widow of the father's son John, Abigail (Nurse) Jacobs, who married Nathaniel Porter as his 2nd wife. She was alive in 1761 when she submitted an accounting for his estate and had her dower set off to her, possibly the widow Abigail "Potter" who d. 7 Aug 1765 in Topsfield?
