ABIGAIL DOWNING (George(B-C)) was born undoubtedly in Ipswich, co. Suffolk, say 1592; she died after March 1635/6, when she was mentioned in a letter by Lucy (Winthrop) Downing. She married firs at St. Lawrence, Ipswich, on 20 February 1614/5, JOHN GOADE, and secondly at St. Helen's Bishopsgate, London, on 29 December 1625, JOHN HILL (groom and bride both of the same parish).
