Note: Source:Converse, Charles Allen. Some of the Ancestors and Descendants of Samuel Converse, Jr. of Thompson Parish, Killingly, Conn, p. 44, says this Abigail m. Ambrose Wilson of Kent, CT, and had a son John. This is almost certainly an error. It was probably Person:Abigail Converse (7), b. 1774, that married Ambrose Kent. John Wilson was b. 1798, and Ambrose and Abigail Wilson of Kent, CT, had various other children from 1791 to 1804, which hardly seems likely for a woman born in 1739.
