Children of Joseph Allen and Hannah Sabin: Abigail, b. 24 Oct 1694, m. Ebenezer Battle.
Some sources give the death date as 1 Apr 1759, based on a death record in Dedham (p. 93), but this could easily be a different Abigail Battle since the record does not identify her age, marital status, parents, or husband. For example, an Abigail Draper m. John Battle 19 Jan 1710-11 (p. 36). Further, most sources (but not all) show Ebenezer Battle m. 1747 Zipporah (Lewis) Ellis (p. 75), implying Abigail had died by that date, and casting further doubts on the idea that the 1759 death record applies to this Abigail.
