Aaron Rice, son of Aaron and Anna (Yale) Royce, was born 8 November 1779, at Wallingford, Connecticut and was buried at Buryhill, Trumbull County, Ohio. He married Submit Jones, daughter of Isaac and Abigail (Brockway) Jones of Hartford, Ohio. She was born 30 October 1785 and is buried with her husband. Aaron was a resident of Bristol, Ontario County, New York and removed to Williamsfield, Ohio in 1807, and later settled in Greene Township, Trumbull County."[1]
