  2. ↑ It seems almost certain that the baptism reported in the Grafton VRs is in error, but it is not known how. Possibly a date is wrong, possibly the parents are wrong, etc. This is only 7 months after the birth of Moses, and no such child is mentioned in the father's will. No such child is shown in Source:Brigham, Willard Irving Tyler. History of the Brigham Family : A Record of Several Thousand Descendants of Thomas Brigham the Emigrant, 1603-1653, p. 137, but neither is it places in any other family.
