The following map is based on a map provided at the Chester County website, modified to reflect township divisions c. 1730. Several townships (Light colored areas) were subdivided prior to 1730, but boundary maps showing where their boundaries lay have not been identified. Orange lines indicate where boundary lines have been added. Dashed Orange lines indicate reasonable "guesses". Some portions of Old Chester were transferred to Berks and Lancaster Counties after 1730. These areas, including Pequea and Tulpehocken Townships, are not shown.
