From The Birge Family:
John Snoddy, Sr. was born in 1720 in Ireland. He met Agnes Glasgow on the ship coming to America in 1740. He married Agnes Glasgow on October 7, 1741 in the Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Agnes was born in 1722 in Scotland and died December 30, 1801 in Leadville, Jefferson County, Tennessee. John died in Washington County, Virginia in February, 1784 and is buried on Walton Mountain, Blount County, Tennessee.
- This is probably the First Presbyterian in Philadelphia. Need to recover this marriage record.
