This material was transcribed and edited by Kennerley Comstock Ashley Jr., grandson of Josephine Blanche (Comstock) Ashley, from material he believes was assembled by Allen Erwin Comstock about twenty years ago. He got it only recently from Ione Fern (Harrigan) Hunt. The first part is from John Adams Comstock's 1949 book "A History and Genealogy of the Comstock Family in America", 1949. He sent copies out to various cousins in 1993.
