I Joseph Ristine Clerk, of the Probate Court of the County of Fountain in the State of Indiana I do certify that Administration of the goods Chattels, rights, credits, monies and affects which were of Thomas Baily late of the County, Deceased who died intestate is granted unto John G. Harper and the said John G, Harper is authorized to administer the same according to law.
Witness my hand and the seal of the said Court in Covington this 20th day of June AD 1842

This day personally came John G. Harper, before me the undersigned Clerk of the Probate Court of said County and on the solemn oath says that he will truly and faithfully perform the duties and trusts committed to and required of him as administrator of the estate of Thomas Baily deceased.
