Private inturnment services were held for Irvin E. Ball, 82 of Ukiah, who died Friday, Sept. 22 at his home.
Ball was born Dec. 17, 1906, in Talmage. He was a psychiatric technician at Mendocino State Hospital in Talmage for 20 years. Ball was a lifelong resident of Mendocino County and the son of pioneer families from Anderson Valley. He was also a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his children Cleretta Simpson of San Leandro, Nancy Mantel of Fort Bragg and Carol McCullum and Russell Ball of Ukiah; his sister, Lola Wilson of Ukiah; and 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Eversole Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
