General Affidavit

STATE OF Indiana, COUNTY OF Vigo SS: In claim No. 670084 of Alice and Chas. Varner heirs/Jacob Varner of Co. I/B/I of the 27/13/16/1 Regt. of Ind. Vols./" Cav./" Inf./US Vet, Personally appeared before the undersigned duly authorized to administer oaths within and for said County, Eunice Varner aged 86 years, whose P.O. is Terre Haute, County of Vigo, State of Indiana, who being duly sworn states in relation to said claim as follows to wit:
I am the mother Jacob Varner the above named deceased soldier and was a near neighbor to Louisana Bracken my son's wife and I know that my son Jacob Varner and Louisana Bracken were never married previous to their marriage with each other. The reason I know I was a neighbor to the Bracken family.

And affiant further states that he has no interest in this claim.
