Connecticut Headstone Inscriptions, Vol. 29 (Microfilm 0003347 from LDS); Vol. 41 (Microfilm 0003360 from LDS)

Baker's partial reconstruction of Samuel and Lucretia's family is said to be based on these cemetery inscriptions, but clearly there's more to it than this. I was thinking perhaps he used them to tie Lucretia and Samuel 2nd to Samuel, and then used proximity in the census records to tie in Elisha, Jabez, and Nathan; but then why not Seth W., who also lived near these people? As for the complete list of children given in Genealogical and Biographical Record of New London, well, who knows where that came from?
