Mrs. Allie Williams of 807 S. 23rd St., has received word of the death of her sister, Mrs. Etta Henry. Mrs. Henry, 64, died in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, IL where she had been a patient for 8 days. She had been ill six months. A native of Bluford, she was born Jan. 19, 1888, the daughter of George and Sarah Esmon Davis. Surviving are her husband Frank, 7 children: Gussie Grindley of Oakwood, IL; Mrs. Ona Noth of Ferndale, MI; Louis Henry of Chrisman, IL; Paul Henry of Philadelphia, PA; Mrs. Ethel Sigler and Gloria Henry of Danville, IL and Dean Henry of Westville, IL; 2 sisters: Mrs. Allie Williams and Mrs. Lizzie McKinney of Mt. Vernon; and three brothers: Sam Davis of Bluford; Tom Davis of Benton and Grover Davis of Evansville, IN. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Barrick & Sons Funeral Home in Danville and burial was in Stearns Cemetery near Fithian.
