The business was sold in the 1970's to the Scott family who rented the funeral home until 2008. In June 2008 the building was sold to Jordan Urbanski Funeral Home. The Boyer-VanWormer-Scott business moved out of 5055 Secor. Whether they forsook the name or joined that name with their Bursticker-Scott business in unknown at this point (2009). Records of the Boyer-VanWormer businees dating 1905-1965 are at the residence of Dana Van Wormer Schreder, 7332 Balsam Court, Toledo, Ohio.
