RUFINA RAMIREZ SILVA

Rufina Ramirez Silva, 92, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville. Ms. Silva is preceded in death by her parents, Abraham Ramirez and Maria Juana Silva and one grandchild, Maria Celia Marquez. Rufina Ramirez Silva is survived by her three daughters, Guadalupe Marquez, Raquel (Orkie) Reyes, and Diana F. Conner; one son, Juan Antonio (Tony) Fuentes; eight grandchildren, Maria Del Carmen Marquez, Maria Del Rosario Cole, Octavio Marquez III, Linda Yvonne Thurber, Marilyn Monique Sims, Zoe Reyes, Steven Garcia, and Yvonne Fuentes; five great-grandchildren, Jennifer McCloy, Marcus McCloy, Alexis Seagrovef, Tory A. Marquez, Rachel Thurber, Kate Sims, and Isaiah Fuentes; and one great-great-grandchild, Maya McCloy. She will always be remembered as a loving, caring and giving person. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. A chapel service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, cemeteries, mausoleums, and crematory 125 McDavitt Blvd. Brownsville, Texas 78521 (956) 541-5400.
