Source: The New York Historical Society, 170 Central Park West, New York, New York, 10024-5194. Miniature painting on ivory; 5 x 3 1/2 inches. Label on the back reads: "Anne Muirson Woolsey/ died 1807. Direct descendant of Tangier Smith. It was a gift from William Samuel Johnson, her great-great-grandson, 1934. It was painted by William Dunlap who married her daughter, Elizabeth.
