Person:Archibald Houston (2) acquired land from his father inlaw John Stephenson in the Stovers Mill Creek area of what was then Augusta County. Stover's Mill Creek, a tributary of the Shannandoah, does not exist as such today, but is probably now known as "Mill Creek" which discharges into the Shannandoah near Grotto's, Virginia. John Stephenson's property is described by some genealogists as being in the Cross Key's area. John Stephenson is said to be buried in the Cross Keys' Cemetery.
