Last Russian royal family (left to right): Olga, Maria, Tsar Nicholas II, Alexandra Fyodorovna, Anastasia, Alexei, and Tatiana. Portrait by the Levitsky Studio, Livadiya. Nicholas II (or Nikolay Aleksandrovich Romanov) and his family were executed on July 17, 1918 as a result of the Bolshevik revolution.
