Pauline Bernice Ashton1913 - 2011

This photo was in the collection of Violet Reynolds Ashton. Pauline Ashton Patterson, the woman on the right, was the twin sister of Violet's husband, Paul. RC thought that Pauline moved from Indiana to Ohio with her parents, Charles and Nellie, her twin brother, Paul, and their youngest sibling, Bob. This may not be correct. Pauline worked in Indiana for a couple and watched their young daughter, pictured in this photo. Violet recalled that Pauline was well-treated by the family and Violet thought that the mother was a school teacher. Pauline often took the daughter, Edith, with her and she is in several photographs. Violet also recalled that a friend of the mother wanted to take a trip and asked Pauline and Edith to come along. This photo was possibly taken at that time.
