This photo was in an album formerly belonging to Cora McQuown Turner (Mrs. Carl Turner). On the back was written, "Carl Turners Aunt, Mattie." It appears to be taken in the same location, at the same time, as a photo on which was written, "George Carrothers, 1896." We (Mike Wilson & Rebekah Carlisle) are assuming that "Mattie" is George Carrother's wife, Lucina Matilda Blackman.
