There is confusion about the identity of James Edward Behan, son of John Behan and Mary Ellen O'Niel and James Michael Behan, son of Thomas Behan and Mary Martin.
James Edwards's naturalization records show his parent's as John and Mary. His death certificate and obituary mention his parents as well.
However, his obituary also mentions a brother, Michael living in Buecher, Saskatchewan, Canada and a sister, Margaret Brown, living in Los Angeles, California.
It is known that a Michael Behan, living in Buecher in 1939 was the son of Thomas and Mary and that Thomas and Mary's daughter Margaret married Burtsil Brown, therefore she would be Margaret Brown. Her place of residence in 1939 is know yet been determined.
