Jesse Hoover Family

Jesse Hoover and his wife Amanda Cross were originally from the Healing Springs area of southern Davidson County, North Carolina, but moved to Webster County, Missouri, in 1854. Three of the children are listed below, but there were others. I would be very interested in talking with anyone who has Hoovers in the south-central counties of Missouri!

Silas Hoover Family

Silas Hoover and his wife Martha Ellen Carrick raised their family at first in Hazlewood Twp, and later in Seymour. They moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma, around 1902.

Wright County

David W. Hoover Family

Eldest son of Jesse Hoover above, David lived in Wright County as an adult. He married first Martha Winningham and second Mollie Jenkins.

Jacob Judge Hoover Family

Son of Jesse Hoover above, Jacob lived in Wright County as an adult. He married Ella Nora Odom.
