Comments left by Jrich: Birth date of wife suspect (see her Talk page) and unsourced marriage date long before any children born; needs research

The marriage date of 1624 came to us by way of a gedcom upload by one "Jolayne", dated 29 Mar 2007, the marriage entry being unsourced. That user made one later post, on 2 Apr 2007 and promptly disappeared from WR. While Gloucester was settled in 1623, Katherine Greenway's family did not arrive in New England until 1630 (see Anderson's Great Migration Begins, 2:814-18). Anderson estimates the date of Katherine's marriage to William Daniel, to be "by 1646" based on the baptism of their eldest known child in October of that year. There seems to be no solid reason to credit the 1624 date which, at any rate, is preserved here and in the page history.--jaques1724 04:58, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
