From Thomas Hawkins and Mrs Hawkins (1): Huh? [3 September 2012]

How can a father born abt. 1642 and mother born abt. 1646 have children born 1639,1645,1648,1652,1656,1658,1660 and maybe even some of the later children shown on this page? Boston records do show the birth of Peleg Hawkins in 1648, but his parents are given as James & and Mary Hawkins. Same with Susan, James and Sarah. How does James born 1639 shown a death date of 1827? Is any of this page real? --Jrich 23:55, 13 January 2010 (EST)

I have sorted out some of this family and removed Thomas from the James Hawkins and Mary Mills family pending proof he actually belongs there. The will of James Hawkins mentions only one son, James. --Susan Irish 03:28, 3 September 2012 (EDT)
