Family talk:Thomas Clark and Elizabeth Unknown (1)

name of widow? [26 January 2020]

Savage says his will names widow Elizabeth, but Savage is completely confused about the Thomas Clarkes to begin with, and it only says "my beloved wife" , no name being given in both here and in your abstract. The file is empty, and the docket does not list any other recorded documents than the one above. The will appears to be a 2nd wife presumably based on how he attempts to have her not exercise her thirds, but the marriage date on this page - bef 1679 - appears to suggest this marriage is based on the date of the will, and as pointed out that does not explain how the name is known. Since Mary's death is implied by this marriage, it seems more evidence would be a good thing. --Jrich 04:50, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
