There seems to be no evidence that she was Mary "Hastings." The confusion may result from the fact that this Samuel's son Samuel married, for his second wife, Mary Burt, daughter of David and widow of Thomas Hastings.--jaques1724 21:06, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
