Children incorrect for John and Martha except for Daniel [21 January 2009]

There is an article in The American Genealogist, short name TAG, issue Whole #304, Vol. 76, #4, p. 245, Oct 2001 by Leslie Mahler about the John Cheney family. According to the article; his first wife was Amy ___, as given in the Mistley baptismal records. John married second Martha Smithe in Lawford, Essex on 3 Mar 1630/1. The children of John and 1st wife Amy are: Mary, Martha, and John. The children of John and his 2nd wife Martha Smith[e] are Peter, (dau.) Cheney, Daniel, Sarah, Lydia, Peter (again), Hannah, Nathaniel, and Elizabeth. I am not researching or descended from this family.--Beth 20:09, 20 January 2009 (EST)
