This appears to be a duplicate of Edgar Anderson and Kathryne Goldsby (1). Is there any reason why the two should not be merged? Thanks, --GayelKnott 06:29, 6 February 2016 (UTC)

I am new to this way of sharing genealogy...But Edgar Anderson and Kathryne Goldsby are NOT one in the same persons. They are husband and wife.

Okay. I'll try to explain a bit more. You're right, Edgar and Kathryne are most definitely different persons, and husband and wife. That is what this page is for, to show them as husband and wife, and it's called a Family page. (Actually, this is the Talk page that is attached to their Family page, but the two go together.) Each person (Edgar and Kathryn) also has a Person page, that is just for them, and their Person pages are linked through this Family page.

The thing is, you have two Family pages for Edgar and Kathryne. You have this page (Family: Edgar Anderson and Kathryn Goldsby (2) ), and another page, Family:Edgar Anderson and Kathryne Goldsby (1) You will notice that the numbers after their names are different, which indicates that they are different pages. If you click on the blue text, it will take you to the other page. (You can use your back arrow to come back to this page.)

Let me know if you think the two pages are for the same family, and I will merge them, so that all your information is on the same page. If you think they are different families, then I will put a "Do Not Merge" notice on one of them.

Hope this helps. Working with a wiki site does take some learning, but don't hesitate to ask questions if you are not sure of something. You can also explore various pages under the "Help" menu in the upper right hand corner of the page. Don't try to learn it all at once, though.
