Source:Essex Antiquarian (Essex Antiquarian), p. 5:163, "Descendants of Cornelius Baker of Salem", has several errors about this family. It includes at least 2 children that actually belong to Cornelius' half-brother Humphrey (Samuel and Cornelius), and it does not include any son John, of which Cornelius appears to have had two.

I believe the children of H. Baker were children of Cornelius's wife Hannah who was, I believe, the church member. She is mentioned as one of the early members of the church in Beverly. Beverly Church Records

I do not have access to the Church Records from the first church, but it appears it would be a useful source to consult, per this snippet.

It is still true that the Essex Antiquarian article does not show the sons John, who do appear to belong to this family? --Jrich 00:28, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
