I notice all your dates for this family begin with "abt". From this it would appear you found them in the civil registers, perhaps provided by FreeBMD. The civil registers give the registration district in which the birth (or marriage) was reported. In this case, Wantage. But Wantage does not cover just the town, but a number of other parishes surrounding it. It would be better to express the place as Wantage Registration District, Berkshire, England.
