The Parish Minister, Pattingham registered these three children as "Illegitimate" children of Pheobe Watkins, for reasons known only to him. Note her marriage date to James Clark.

Henry used the name of Henry Watkins in all records up to the 1861 Census for Wolverhampton, Staffordshire when he reported himself and his family as Clark. However, on his death certificate 2 years later, he was registered as Henry Whatkins by his sister, Sarah Ransford.

Sarah used the name of Sarah Watkins Clark in all records found of her.

Edward used the name of Edward Watkin Clark in all records found of him.
