"All Saints Chapel of the Naval Air Station was the scene Friday, July 13, of the marriage of Miss Ellen Elizabeth Oswald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Lewis Oswald of Rotherwood, Hutchinson, Kan., and William St. George Walker III, chief yeoman, USNR, son of Mrs. Delores Felice Walker of this city and the late William St. George Walker of Bolling Hall, Bradford, England.Chaplain Sheridan W. Bell officiated at the 8:30 PM nuptials and Chaplain James D. Skinner gave the benediction. Prior to the double ring ceremony Sp W 1-c Robert Kee, organist, played music.Hans Taenzler of Jacksonville, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, gave the bride in marriage and Julius Alexander Crowell of Hamlet, N.C., another brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man.Miss Oswald chose a street length gown of powder blue with which she wore a white hat and a corsage of bride's roses.The bridegroom's mother was gowned in sift blue. Her hat was of a natching blue and her corsage was of pink roses.The couple is now living at 3671 St. John's Ave.Miss Walker is a graduate of Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson, Kan. She attended Ward-Belmont College, Nashville, Tenn., and Kansas State College, Manhattan, Kan. Mrs. Walker is a member of a pioneer family in Reno County, Kan.The bridegroom, who is a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, attended Jacksonville Law College. Before entering the service he was connected with the Jacksonville Terminal Company. Mr. Walker recently returned from ninetenn months spent in Africa, Sicily, Italy and France.Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Julius Crowell of Hamlet, N.C., Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Curtis Shokes of Tampa and Liet. and Mrs. E. L. Ketterbach of Mutchinson, Kan."
