↑ Even though many of the children included here are supported by weak evidence, there are probably many children still missing to fill in the gap between 1808 and 1821. Some websites list a Williamson Nourse (Find A Grave), b. Vermont about 1819. Also Nelson Nourse, b. Vermont about 1817 (1850 census, line 4). But neither of these men left Cattaraugus County, New York, for Crawford County, Pennsylvania, and no actual evidence exists, so any relationship is speculative.
