Be it Remembered that on the first day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two W'm B. Newton and Sophia Sutliff of the County of Portage were legally joined in marriage by competent authority, in conformity to the provisions of the statutes of the state of Ohio, in such cases made and provided; and a certificiate of such marriage, signed by Lucius U. Bierce a Justice of the Peace of Said County who solemnized the same, has been filed in the office of the clerk of the Court of common pleas, for said County of Portage, this Second day of February Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
