Her name is stated as Abigail in the marriage record. No Abigail Hollingsworth can be found suitable for this marriage; a son by Elizabeth was given the Hollingsworth name Richard; and we conclude that the original entry erred in the name Abigail. William Hine's wife Elizabeth was adm. to Milford Church, 20 July 1729, and the two eldest children were bapt. as Elizabeth's children. The second child was Abigail (bapt. 1730) who in William Hine's will 1781 received "all my moveables that belonged to my first Wife her Mother". This proves that his first wife was Elizabeth.
