13 Apr 1756: "William Cobb of Norton ... Yeoman and Ann his Wife", for £19=19=0, to "Richard Williams of Raynham ... Cordwainer", quitclaim all interest in the "Rael Estate [of] Mr. Ebenezer Williams Late of Taunton Deceased which he gave to one Ebenezer Williams a minor who is also since Deceased ... That now Do [??] here after may come of Descend to ye said Ann as she is one of ye sisters of ye said Ebenezer ye said minor Deceased nothing excepted". [Note: the peculiar way in which the relationship to the minor is mentioned, as opposed to any relationship to the testator, suggests the older Ebenezer was only a step-father, and does not necessarily mean Anne's name was Williams. Research in these Ebenezers is needed.]
